They don't need to be particles when any one has an idea how to solve it please tell me i am totally confused and not the best in scripting

If you want to know what I would have done:
I used a plane for distribution and an animated sphere for collision sending the particles in a event with a scale operator in successive mode with an age test sending to an final event (just to stop the succeessive scaling).
