Hey guys, Basically I was wandering if anyone knows a cleaner way to rotate the velocity vector of a particle(or any object that has a velocity vector) on each integration step based on its age than rotating the Transform of the particle and reasigning the normalized rotated Z axis to the speed and multiply it by the speed magnitude?
I dont mind if the answer is in maxscript, formula or plain text, I know my math may be wrong but I don't mind doing the legwork to get it right if a have a direction
also , at the bottom there's an image of the graphic representation, let's say I want to control the direction a tittle more, like having them orbiting around a sphere but still having the swirly motion, I've thought about achieving this by adding vectors but it can get complex, anyone knows a clean way?
The data operator looks like this:

This gets me pretty close to the forms I'm looking for but 'm sure there's a better way to deal with velocity vectors and I would love to know it
Thanks in advance guys, the result looks like this:
